Auto sales slipped .9% in November to a still very respectable 17.75 million units annualized rate, on a year ago basis sales were down about 2%. Cheap credit continues to drive the sectors of the economy most dependent on it, auto sales, real estate, and education through student loans. That said debt saturation, weak earned income generation and employment growth is increasingly showing up in rising delinquencies and defaults.
